    FARGO, N.D. — A group of 15 North Dakota National Guard Soldiers who have been serving overseas since September are scheduled to return home to North Dakota tomorrow. The Soldiers are assigned to the Fargo-based 231st Brigade Support Battalion Logistical Support Element (BSB LSE).

    The Soldiers, who arrived at Fort Hood, Texas, July 17, to conduct their demobilization process, will return to North Dakota on separate civilian flights. Twelve Soldiers are scheduled to arrive at Hector International Airport in Fargo on Delta flight 1956 at 8:35 p.m. and three Soldiers will arrive at the Bismarck Municipal Airport on United flight 6368 at 8:01 p.m.

    The public is invited to show their support for the Soldiers at their arrival locations.

    These Soldiers provided logistical support to units in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility, by managing supply, maintenance, transportation and cargo movement activities.

    CENTCOM is one of nine unified combatant commands in the U.S. military. CENTCOM’s area of responsibility covers the “central” area of the globe and consists of 20 countries: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
