DALLAS - Through an agreement with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Great Clips is set to join nine other Exchange barbershops currently operating on Fort Hood.
The introduction of Great Clips at the Great Place is expected to help the Exchange evaluate military consumers’ demand for name-brand hair-care services.
Offering name brands in-store and online at shopmyexchange.com has become a priority for the Exchange. Great Clips is the latest in a series of announcements concerning national-brand introductions at Army posts and Air Force bases around the world.
As AAFES works to ensure national brands are incorporated into its assortment of offerings, the Exchange monitors customer reaction to ensure offerings are aligned to military shoppers’ needs.
“We are deliberate when introducing new products and services,” said Trini Saucedo, the Exchange’s senior vice president of services and food. “The Exchange delivers brands that resonate with each community it serves. To do that effectively, we must have a diverse selection to ensure meaningful experiences for every member of the military family.”
Great Clips’ services include haircuts for men, women and children. The Fort Hood location is expected to open before September. Once open, Great Clips will offer online check-in and service with no appointments necessary.
