KOKOMO, Ind. - Ball State University student Benjamin Sanchez serves his country in two ways. Sanchez is in the ROTC program at BSU, and is an Indiana Army National Guard soldier.
Though Sanchez said he initially joined the National Guard for the educational benefits, he “found that I really loved it.”
Originally from Kokomo, Ind., Sanchez majored in telecommunications at BSU, and at 22 years old, plans to graduate in December.
When Sanchez graduates, he wants to branch Adjutant General.
Sanchez is interested in obtaining a civilian career in the media industry. He has been doing video production independently, and would like to work on video production professionally.
