DECATUR, Ga.— The Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC) will host a town hall meeting to address topics of interest to local Veterans on Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Pete Wheeler Auditorium from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

This is a great opportunity for veterans and family members to hear from medical center director Leslie Wiggins and receive information on key healthcare issues.

“Our top goal will always be to ensure Veterans receive the high quality health that they have earned and deserve,” said Leslie Wiggins, Atlanta VA Medical Center director. “Focusing on our core values — integrity, commitment, advocacy, respect and excellence — will guide our actions toward accomplishing this most important mission.”

Seating is limited to the first 100 veterans, so those interested in attending the town hall meeting need to RSVP to Janelle Hughley at Janelle.Hughley@va.gov or at (404) 321-6111, extension 2402. Lunch will be provided and an optional tour will follow after the q-and-a session.

The Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC), a Joint Commission and Magnet®-designated medical facility, sits on 26 acres in Decatur, Georgia—just minutes from downtown Atlanta. The main medical center is a level 1A tertiary care facility providing patient-centered healthcare via an array of comprehensive medical, surgical, and geriatric specialty services, as well as state-of–the-art diagnostic testing throughout 14 sites of care.
