FORT HOOD, Texas – The 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division will host a colors casing ceremony on Cooper Field, Tuesday, May 19 at 9 a.m.
Over 4,000 members of the 2ABCT will deploy to South Korea in June and will serve as the Army’s first rotational fighting force in Korea. They will replace the 1st Armored Brigade, nicknamed “the Iron Brigade”, who have been headquartered in South Korea since 1965.
