    SLOAN, Nev. – The United States Army Reserve presents the grand opening of the state-of-the-art George W. Dunaway Army Reserve Center on Sunday, April 12, 2015. George W. Dunaway was the second sergeant major of the Army from 1968 – 1970. He was known as a “Soldier’s Soldier” who led the way in making the noncommissioned officer corps more professional. He retired in 1970 and was laid to rest in 2008. Members of his family will be present for the memorialization.

    Local media are welcome and encouraged to attend this grand opening and building dedication ceremony. Soldiers will be available for interviews. The new building is located at 13825 Hinson Street, Sloan, NV 89054.
