    181st Intelligence Wing

    HULMAN FIELD AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Ind. — Airmen from the 181st Intelligence Wing, 113th Air Support Operations Squadron, Tactical Air Control Party took part in the fourth Annual 24-Hour Challenge March 26-27, 2015.

    The 24-Hour Challenge fundraiser is to help support TACPs who were wounded in action and families of TACPs killed in action.

    “We have raised over $2,600.00 dollars here locally, and the organization has raised over $70,000.00 dollars,” stated a TACP Airman. “I’m so happy to be part of a unique organization like the TACPs.”

    TACPs and Airmen from the 181st IW started at 1 p.m. March 26, 2015, taking turns running the three mile course for the next 24 hours.

    “181st TACPs ran for 24 hours and covered 465 miles,” stated the Chief Master Sgt. of the TACPs.

    The 24-Hour Challenge was conducted all over the world – United States, Germany, Korea, Hawaii, Alaska, Kuwait, Africa and Afghanistan. Teams consist of military members, their families and friends.

    The mission of the TACP Association is to, “Remember the Fallen, Honor the Living and Aid Brothers in Need.”
