Senior Iraqi Ministry of Defense officials graduate course

BAGHDAD – U.S. Army Maj. Gen. George Smith, security assistance office director, presided over the conclusion of the Defense Institute for security assistance management senior executive course at the Ministerial Training and Development Center, Jan. 14th.

The course was attended by 6 senior Iraqi ministry officials and focused on topics of foreign military sales related to their particular ministry.

The course included introduction to security cooperation, Foreign Military Sales Mission International Statutory, regulatory framework, foreign military sales process security cooperation, training programs management, acquisitions, logistics, and finance.
