PHOENIX - Family, friends, and fellow Soldiers gathered March 7 to bid farewell to outgoing brigade commander, Col. Kenneth J. Stynen, and welcome the incoming brigade commander, Col. Michael Gonzalez, during a change of command ceremony for the 215th Regiment Regional Training Institute of the Arizona Army National Guard at Papago Park Military Reservation.

Brig. Gen. William Hall, land component commander for the Arizona Army National Guard, was the host of the event and provided remarks.

“I want to welcome Col. Gonzalez as the new brigade commander. The future of our organization rests in your hands to train our next generation of leaders and officers – so, buckle up!”
