KHOK SAM RONG LOPURI, Thailand - Cobra Gold 2015, in its 34th iteration, refocuses on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, with the aim of expanding regional cooperation and coordination between partner nations. Humanitarian civic action events include the construction of four buildings, which are designed to improve the quality of life and infrastructure for the Thai people.
Engineers with the Royal Thai Army, Malaysian Armed Forces, and U.S. Marines with Engineer Company, Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, 1st Marine Air Wing, build a classroom at Ban Nhong-Piong School, Khok Sam Rong Lopuri Thailand on Jan. 25, 2015. The pillar raising was part of a dedication ceremony for the new structure, the pillar was blessed by the community in order to provide safe construction and longevity for the structure.
