SAN DIEGO - Gary Sinise, the Lt. Dan Band, celebrity chef Robert Irvine and friends are scheduled to kick off the third annual Invincible Spirit Festival at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in appreciation of our nation's service members, veterans and families.
Media are invited to attend the event. Please RSVP no later than 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 to NMCSD-PAO@med.navy.mil or call (619) 532-9380, providing names, organization, vehicle type and contact information.
Media should plan on entering the facility through the main gate located on Florida Canyon Road starting at 10:15 a.m. Please allow for 15 minutes of check-in time prior to entry. Check-in ends at 1 p.m.

Timeline:
11 to 11:30 a.m - Grouped press interview opportunity with Sinise and Irvine near the stage.
12:30 p.m. - Festival kicks off with rock wall, bounce houses for children, face painting, prize giveaways and food served by celebrity chef Robert Irvine.
2:30 to 3 p.m. - Opening act (approximately five songs)
3 to 5 p.m. - Sinise and Lt. Dan Band perform
Last year, more than 3,000 wounded warriors, staff members and family attended the performance.
