    222nd Broadcast Operations Detachment

    LOS ANGELES -

    What: The 222nd Broadcast Operations Detachment will change its shoulder sleeve insignia from 200th Military Police Command to the 63rd Regional Support Command in a special repatching ceremony followed by an open house.

    When: Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, all media will need to call 719-433-5829 to get access to the Army Reserve Center.

    Where: General George S. Patton Army Reserve Center, 5340 Bandini Boulevard, Bell, CA, 90201.

    Background: The 222nd BOD is one of four broadcast operations detachments in the Army Reserve that specializes in radio and television broadcast operations. Deployed twice in 2004 and 2009, the 222nd BOD is falling under new leadership and will showcase what the unit does to future Soldiers and civilians.

    Schedule of events for the day is a repatching ceremony from 1000 – 1100, which will end with a cake cutting ceremony. From 1200 – 1600 the unit will open its doors and give tours to future Soldiers and civilians that will detail radio operations, green screen operations and maintenance.
