FORT HOOD, Texas – The 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment “Garryowen,” 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division will host a Spouse Spur Ride event Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 2-7 Cavalry battalion headquarters.
More than 35 spouses will participate in the spur ride, which is designed to build relationships, camaraderie and esprit de corps within the Garryowen family. Event challenges include an obstacle course, road march and a virtual weapons simulator competition.
Interested media representatives who wish to attend the spur ride must RSVP no later than Friday, November 14, at 12 p.m.
The event link up time is 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 at the Fort Hood Visitor Center.
