SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – The Army is advising motorists to be alert and drive with care as the 25th Infantry Division conducts a series of convoys from Schofield Barracks to Dillingham Airfield, Oct. 21.
Each convoy consists of approximately 65 military vehicles of varying size. The vehicles will depart in groups of 10, at staggered intervals, as a safe-driving precaution. The convoys will be conducted between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The Army is coordinating this effort with the Hawaii Department of Transportation.
The 25th Infantry Division’s 2nd Stryker Brigade is transporting the vehicles and equipment for training to Dillingham Airfield in Waialua, Hawaii.
