FORT HOOD, Texas – Media are invited to attend the 1st Cavalry Division's welcome home ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8:15 a.m. on Cooper Field here.
Nearly 100 Soldiers from the Division Headquarters and the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade will return home from their deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
