BAYBROOK, Texas - The United States Marine Corps is recognizing exemplary student athletes across the country through the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. Now in its fourth year, the game will feature approximately 100 student athletes selected from across the country based on their athletic prowess, academic success and embodiment of the Marine Corps values of honor, courage and commitment.
John Humphrey, from Clear Falls High School, was selected to participate in this year’s nationally televised Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The game will be played on January 4, 2015, at The StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
Through the Semper Fidelis Football Program, the Marine Corps engages with well-rounded student athletes to share leadership lessons that will enable future success.
John Humphrey was recognized at a local jersey presentation during his high school pep rally at Clear Falls High School, October 2nd. Humphrey was presented the jersey by the Commanding Officer of Recruiting station Houston, Major Robert Arbegast as well as a canvassing recruiter of RS Houston, Sergeant Christopher G. Parks.
