GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The United States Marine Corps, in partnership with the Nassau County Coaches Association, New York Lizards and City of Glen Cove, will host the inaugural Dan Daly Cup all-star lacrosse game at Glen Cove High School June 21st at noon.
The game will build awareness of the legacy of Dan Daly, a two-time Medal of Honor recipient, and recognize the superior achievement of the following players:

Dan Daly Cup Camp 4pm-7pm June 16-18, 2014:
• June 16: Family orientation, jersey presentation, and community service (Loc. Glen Cove H.S, 150 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542).
• June 17: USMC Leadership Seminar and Coach’s Corner with NCLCA and NY Lizards (Loc. Mitchel Athletic Complex Stadium, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Uniondale, NY 11553)
• June 18: Team Virtue and Team Valor practices at two separate locations TBD.
Dan Daly memorial rededication and parade 9-11am June 21, 2014:
• 9am-10am: Rededication of Sergeant Major Dan Daly’s memorial (see next bullet for Loc).
• 10am-11am: Parade to game-day field led by the 30-piece Marine band (Loc. memorial square at the intersection of Forest Ave and North Ln, near First Presbyterian Church, 7 North Ln, Glen Cove, NY 11542).
Dan Daly Cup Game 12pm June 21, 2014:
• 11am: Gates open (see next bullet for Loc).
• 12am: Game starts (Loc. Glen Cove H.S., 150 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542).
