FORT HOOD, Texas -- Initial charges were filed March 7 against Sgt. 1st Class Gregory McQueen and allege 21 specifications of charges related to pandering, conspiracy, maltreatment of a subordinate, abusive sexual contact, adultery and conduct of a nature to bring discredit to the armed forces.
The Article 32 hearing in this case reconvened at 8a.m. June 4. The scheduled session heard both prosecution and defense witness testimony. Prosecutors presented two days of testimony from ten witnesses. The defense concluded by presenting testimony from two witnesses. Both the prosecution and defense offered closing remarks.
The Investigating Officer Lt. Col. James Varley concluded the Article 32 hearing at 2 p.m. June 4.
Varley will provide his recommended disposition of the case to the Brig. Gen. Clark W. LeMasters Jr., commander, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), who is the special court-martial convening authority in this case.
The accused is considered to be innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
When the special court-martial convening authority makes a decision to take action or forward the case to the general court martial convening authority, a statement will be released on the Fort Hood Press Center.
