MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. - The administrative specialists who oversee individual Marines’ administrative readiness do so with no time to waste. Tracking records, pay issues and promotion eligibility is a vital task important to all Marines.
As the noncommissioned officer in charge of his section, Cpl. Jedidiah L. Sinsheimer, with 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, oversees Marines within his section ensuring they perform to set standards while maintaining promotion records and battalion orders.
Sinsheimer, a Denver native, enjoys every aspect of his job. He uses his love for the job to help him excel.
As part of his duties, Sinsheimer tracks and supports the administrative needs of each Marine at 2nd LAAD. He said one of the biggest challenges of his job is managing separate tasks at the same time.
Off duty, Sinsheimer likes to socialize with friends and set personal and professional goals. Setting his eyes on the future, Sinsheimer plans to continue advancing in his professional career.
“Although I’m not at work, I’m still striving to become a better Marine,” said Sinsheimer. “One of my goals is to make it to sergeant before the end of my enlistment.”
Sinsheimer said that he is happy to have his job and wouldn't trade it for anything.
