FORT HOOD, Texas — The Lightning Brigade’s soldiers and families gathered together at the Lightning Ranch here to celebrate autumn and Halloween during the unit’s Fall Festival, Oct. 26.
The 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment sponsored the event by providing trunk or treat, several child-friendly games, as well as food and refreshments, while the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery of the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade added to the excitement by creating haunted cubicles for the families to get a fun, haunting experience.
In addition to the activities and games that rewarded children prizes and candy, there were also prizes awarded for the best costumes and the best trunk or treat display.
