FORT KNOX, Ky. - Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps was able to pay a special visit to the “Sustainers” of the 3d ESC, Sept. 4-5, at Fort Knox.
Anderson toured the facilities of the 3d ESC, including the motorpool, where he recognized Spc. David Andreano for his efforts in support of the Campaign on Property Accountability program.
The Fort Knox Mission Command Training Center and the 19th Engineer Battalion were also toured.
The Corps Commander’s tour wrapped up with a Leader Development Program or LDP, at Fort Knox’s Saber & Quill Club.
During the LDP, Anderson also discussed his command philosophy and vision and answered questions from 3rd ESC leaders, all of which will help direct and motivate the “Sustainers” of 3rd ESC.
