CAMP ADDER, Iraq – Multi-National Force-Iraq Commander Gen. David H. Petraeus visited July 21 to get briefings from coalition force commanders on the camp.

"I just got a good update from your commander. The 34th D6 and the 29th D6 is impressed by what you're doing," Petraeus said while addressing a group of Soldiers from 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (the Devil Brigade,) who just received one of his coins.

Petraeus spent the remainder of the morning meeting with both the Australian and Romanian army units. The commanding officers provided situational updates on missions in their area of operations.

Following the briefings, Petraeus had lunch with company commanders from all forces in Camp Adder, discussing their challenges and the overall situation in Iraq.

Petraeus ended his stay with a flight to Camp Ur, an Iraqi army post.
