(Staff Writer, Combat Logistics Regiment 2 Public Affairs)
A Waco, Texas, native and U.S. Marine deployed to the Helmand province from Camp Lejeune, N.C., with Combat Logistics Regiment 2, Regional Command (Southwest), in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, July 9.
While in Afghanistan, Lance Cpl. Nathaniel Valazquez, a water support technician, will provide logistical support to forward deployed Marines, U.S. allies and advise the Afghan National Security Forces in developing their own logistical capabilities.
