CAMP HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea — In preparation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District’s Reverse Industry Day, various division and branch representatives, and support staff are discussing the logistics for Oct. 6, 2026 event. The purpose of FEDRID is for industry partners and prospective contractors to sit down with the district in a collaborative listening forum to provide direct feedback on alternate design, procurement and project delivery methodologies, directly informing future acquisition planning. This is part of a larger initiative USACE Headquarter is executing to reduce cost and accelerate timelines to improve our military programs delivery. Thus, the division is training and credentialing its acquisition workforce with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) warrants.
