Head protection is required for Marines of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 while conducting regular maintenance on both UH-1 Hueys' and AH-1W Super Cobras on the flight line on Al Asad air base in the Al Anbar province of Iraq, March 6. HMLA-773 is deployed as a part of Multi National Force-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
