    807th Theater Medical Command

    U.S. Army Spc. Dylan Wygle, a 68M Nutrition Care Specialist assigned to the 311th Field Hospital, 806th Hospital Center, 307th Medical Brigade, 807th Theater Medical Command, checks the oil level of a high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle during preventive maintenance checks and services during the Connelly competition at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 25, 2026. The Philip A. Connelly Award is the U.S. Army’s oldest logistics readiness award. This competition recognizes excellence in Army food service. Established in 1968, the PAC evaluates field-feeding teams on food preparation, nutrition, sanitation, safety, tactical site operations, administration, convoy operations and equipment readiness. For the 311th Field Hospital, the competition also highlights the unique role of its 68M Nutrition Care Specialists, who bring their medical and nutritional expertise to the field-feeding mission alongside Culinary Specialists. The competition is designed to strengthen food-service proficiency and readiness while ensuring Soldiers can provide safe, quality and nutritionally appropriate meals in field environments.
