Two military personnel from different nations are providing tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) to a simulated casualty lying on the ground. One individual wears US Marine Corps MARPAT digital camouflage with a plate carrier, while the other wears Swedish Armed Forces M90 camouflage with a tactical helmet bearing a Swedish flag patch. This appears to be a joint military medical training exercise.

U.S. Navy Corpsmen with 4th Medical Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, and Swedish medical personnel with 2nd Naval Combat Service Support Battalion provide casualty care during Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 26 in Berga, Sweden, Sept. 2, 2026. Combined training between U.S. Marines and the Swedish Armed Forces was focused on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense, medical crisis response, and amphibious operations. Following simulated CBRN decontamination, U.S. and Swedish medical personnel treated casualties in a safe area as part of a combined medical response. Archipelago Endeavor 26 strengthens bilateral interoperability, littoral defense capabilities, and tactical cooperation while demonstrating the readiness of U.S. and Swedish forces to operate together in the Baltic Sea region.
