Fayetteville, N.C., native Spc. Laquita Quilens (left), a food service specialist for the 330th Transportation Battalion, receives congratulations from Sgt. Maj. Scott Dugan (center), XVIII Airborne Corps food service sergeant major, and senior instructor Sgt. 1st Class Martina Dewalt for graduating from the Fort Bragg Culinary Arts Skills Course during an Aug. 1 ceremony at the post's Culinary Arts Training Facility. Also pictured is Sgt. Maj. Kenneth Barteau, XVIII Airborne Corps logistical operations sergeant major. While attending the three-week skills course, Quilens said she learned such things as advanced techniques for how to make unique menu items, ornate garnishes and to make flavorful meals that meet the requirements of the Army Food Program's health-based initiatives.
