The Homeland Security Cutter-Ocean (HSC-Ocean) transits in the Caribbean Sea during a replenishment at sea with the Famous-class medium endurance cutter USCGC Forward (WMEC 911), July 28, 2026. During the evolution, the vessels tested the HSC Ocean’s ability to resupply large Coast Guard assets by transferring fuel, taking on food stores, and offloading trash. This marked a first-of-its-kind operation for a 270-foot Coast Guard cutter. (U.S. Coast Guard courtesy photo)
