CANTON, Ga. – U.S. Army pallbearers carry the flag-draped casket of Army Capt. Tyler J. Feehan during his burial service at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, Aug. 7, 2026.
Feehan, 25, was an air defense artillery officer assigned to 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command.
Posthumously promoted from first lieutenant, Feehan was killed in action July 18, 2026, during an Iranian missile strike at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan, while supporting Operation Epic Fury.
He was laid to rest with full military honors, alongside his grandfather, a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War veteran. (Courtesy photo by Amber Cloy Photography)
