U.S Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Regiment conducted team physical training events that included a litter carry, water jug carry, 14 rope climbs, and kettlebell carry around a two-mile loop to encourage team building at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, July 14, 2026. Soldiers practice their skills to prepare for the upcoming North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Winter Instructor Course (NWIC) qualification. During the NWIC in Norway, Soldiers are provided with knowledge and skills to fight, move, and maintain combat readiness in arctic environments. Upon completion of the course, participants are certified to train their formations in the tactical and technical skills required to maneuver, survive, and leverage the unique conditions of snow, ice, and challenging terrain.
