Deployed soldiers take part in a Morale, Welfare and Recreation-sponsored, 1,000-pound weightlifting competition at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, July 15. This competition is a test of endurance and fortitude for the soldiers taking part in a three-series set of lifting events consisting of squats, a flat bench press and the dead lift.
