    Coast Guard watchstanders directed the launch of a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Station Grays Harbor and a MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria, to respond to a reported collision between the fishing vessels Nora J and Tabitha, approximately 22 miles offshore of Grays Harbor, Washington, July 21, 2026. The Nora J sustained significant damage during the collision, and the Motor Lifeboat crew safely rescued all three crewmembers from the Nora J before it sunk.
