Cpl. Kegan Mowery teaches Debbie Snyder how to shoot in the sitting position at Edson Range during the Recruiting Station Orange and Recruiting Station Sacramento Educators Workshop held here June 27. Educators from within the two recruiting stations are participating in the weeklong workshop on Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and Camp Pendleton. The educators’ workshop is a weeklong event that is facilitated by the recruiting districts for teachers and school officials to gain a better understanding and hands on experiences of what the Marine Corps does during it’s recruit training.Mowery is originally an avionics technician but is currently a range coach on Camp Pendleton. Snyder is an office assistant at Roosevelt High School in Orange County, Calif.
