Sgt. 1st Class Terrence Johnson, drill sergeant with Company E, 35th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade, is named Maneuver Support Center of Excellence’s Drill Sergeant of the Year during an awards ceremony June 26, 2026, at Lincoln Hall Auditorium. Johnson earned the title after competing against six other Fort Leonard Wood drill sergeants from June 22-25. The intense four-day competition tested their physical fitness, Soldiering skills and instructional drill sergeant expertise.
