Fourteen Minnesota National Guard Soldiers currently deployed to Kosovo with Task Force Bayonet earn their Expert Infantry Badge at Camp Bondsteel on, May 5th, 2008. The badge, earned only after strenuous testing of a Soldier's proficiency in over a dozen skill sets, is on average awarded to less than ten percent of the competitors. Awardees include, in the front row from left to right: Staff Sgt. Jerod Krog of St. Cloud, Minn., Spc. Brandon Knutson of Winona, Minn., Spc. Patrick Jaakola of Jordan, MN, Sgt. Benjamin Scheiber of La Crescent, Minn., Staff Sgt. Adam Olby of Minnetonka, Minn., Sgt. James Letsos of Duluth, Minn. And Sgt. Charles Hauser of Mankato, Minn.
