U.S. Army Sgt. Ethan Urive and Staff Sgt. George Auguste, with the 350th Engineer Company, 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, launch a Skydio X10 unmanned aircraft system to enhance aerial monitoring capabilities during engineer operations in Eagle Pass, Texas, June 10, 2026. The unit utilizes the unmanned aerial system to monitor and detect suspected illegal aliens attempting to cross the U.S. southern border. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
