In a major move toward transparency and empowerment, access to the Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record, or ILER, will be expanded to all active duty, National Guard and Reserve members, as well as civilian Common Access Card, or CAC, holders, starting in spring 2026. Expanded access for all veterans without a CAC is planned for late 2026. (Defense Health Agency-Public Health graphic illustration by Joyce Kopatch)
