On June 3 the Command Religious Program (CRP) at Naval Support Activity South Potomac proudly honored the volunteers whose dedication, generosity, and compassion continue to uplift our Chapel community. Speaking to the heart of the celebration, Chaplain Lt. Joesph Jones noted, "The true highlight of Wednesday’s was the unwavering dedication of our volunteers. Their hard work, passion, and selfless commitment are what made the day such a resounding success. We simply could not achieve our mission without them, and we are incredibly grateful for their support."
Their impact reaches far beyond a single event. Thanks to the support of these volunteers and our wider community, the CRP continues to connect with military and civilian families through sermons, Bible studies, food pantry outreach, and the many programs that keep the Chapel active and welcoming. As Master Sgt. Nimsi Y Martinez- Florez shared, “Behind every program, every event and every moment of intentional care provided through NSA Dahlgren Chapel there are volunteers who quietly and faithfully serve others. Their willingness to give of their time and gifts has created a lasting impact on our instillation community. Wednesday was all about them, recognizing their achievements and celebrating the countless ways they have invested in the lives of others. We are forever thankful to serve alongside individuals who genuinely live out Christ’s call to love and serve one another with humility and compassion.” ( U.S. Navy Photos by CS2 Carly McGuffey)
