Joy Greer presents a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal to Hospital Corpsman First Class Jeffrey Placides, assigned to NMRTC Annapolis, during an award ceremony on board Naval Health Clinic Annapolis May 21, 2026. Petty Officer Placides earned the award for serving as the Leading Petty Officer, Directorate for Health Services during which time he led eight technicians in the completion of 23,118 radiographs in support of 11,200 beneficiaries and achieved a 100 percent accuracy rate.
