Natalie Daniels crosses the finish line as the female first-place winner of the Marine Corps Historic Half in Fredericksburg, Virginia, May 17, 2026. The Fredericksburg native set a new women’s course record with a time of 1:20:29, breaking the previous record by 58 seconds. Daniels, who holds the record for the most consecutive women's victories in the race, was awarded at the Oscar Mike event the previous evening. The Historic Half is a 13.1-mile race weaved throughout Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, home to over 200 businesses and several historic sites. The annual race generates community goodwill, fosters public relations, and increases advocacy for individual health while emphasizing the Marine Corps’ warrior ethos.
