    SEMBACH, Germany – U.S. Army Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Mark Stackle, the new commander of Medical Readiness Command, Europe (MRC, EUR) and director of Defense Health Network - Europe (DHN-EUR), conducts his first town hall meeting with military and civilian staff members of both organizations May 14 at Sembach’s Tiger Theater. Stackle took command of Medical Readiness Command, Europe during a ceremony at Sembach Kaserne May 13. Stackle comes to MRC, EUR from Ft. Bragg, North Carolina where he was the command surgeon for U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command. Prior to that, he commanded Brooke Army Medical Center and the United States Army Institute of Surgical Research at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii where he served as Chief Resident.
