Have you heard the latest buzz? Recently, a bee box was placed by Beekeeper Todd Jackson to safely collect a beehive at Norfolk Naval Shipyard’s Building 1475. After the bees moved into the bee box, approximately 30,000 to 40,000 were safely relocated to a bee apiary in Chesapeake, Virginia. An apiary is a location where honeybee hives are placed for pollination and honey production.
