Chase Chapman, 39th Flying Training Squadron T-38C instructor pilot, performs a pre-check on a spare T-38C Talon before preparing to fly in a T-38C and T-6A dissimilar formation for the Great Texas Airshow on May 3, 2026 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Chapman flew alongside instructor pilots attached to the 435th Flying Training Squadron and 559th Flying Training Squadron as part of the opening demonstration for the airshow.
