Warrant Officer Dawson Van Manen, 27, was convicted by a military jury of raping two women and sentenced to 31 years in prison at the conclusion of his court-martial April 29, 2026, at Fort Rucker, Ala. He used this photo in August 2024 while texting one of the victims using the alias “2nd Lt. David Johnson” after meeting her on the app Bumble.
