University of South Florida senior Lila Morgan, center, was named the 2026 Operation Homefront Military Child of the Year for the National Guard. Morgan, 18, graduated from high school at 16 years old and will graduate this August with a double major in political science and criminology. She is a former Civil Air Patrol and junior ROTC cadet.
