Florida native Lila Morgan, a former Civil Air Patrol and junior ROTC cadet, was named the 2026 Operation Homefront Military Child of the Year for the National Guard. Lila, 18, is the daughter of 1st Lt. Larry Morgan and is finishing her senior year at the University of South Florida.
