Brig. Gen. Travis McIntosh, deputy commanding general of operations for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and Mr. Doug Englen, a 2020 Army Aviation Hall of Fame Inductee, unveil a 1/8th scale model of the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) at the division's atrium on Fort Campbell, Ky., June 6, 2025. The MV-75 is the Army's next-generation vertical lift aircraft, designed to be faster and have a longer range than current helicopters. The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade is slated to be the first unit equipped with the new aircraft, which is a key part of the Army's modernization efforts under the Future Vertical Lift initiative.
