Cmdr. Mark Escoe, supply officer of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), explains the logistics involved in a replenishment at sea evolution to a group of midshipmen in the hangar bay of Nimitz. Eighteen midshipmen from schools around the country are aboard Nimitz during a two-week summer cruise to experience Navy life at sea. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
