PARIS - U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Roger Giraud, commander of Medical Readiness Command, Europe and command surgeon for U.S. Army Europe and Africa, interacts with an allied officer at the French Armed Forces Medical Service symposium in Paris Mar. 24. The medical symposium, attended by more than 200 military medical leaders from France, Germany, Spain, and the United States provided a critical platform for senior military medical leaders to share knowledge, discuss innovative medical strategies, and enhance interoperability among allied forces. The central theme of the symposium was the adaptation of military health services in the face of a major military engagement.
